Programming Director
Hey All! My name is Tyra Brown, I’m a senior communications major from Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m currently serving as the Programming director of WalTV, where I input all the content that gets played on the station. You can also catch me on the station this year during live broadcast or on my new TV show!
Apart from WalTV, You can catch me on the sidelines cheering on Our Waldorf sports, in the campus bookstore Folding clothes, Or Down on the field taking Photos of our sports teams.
This summer I had the opportunity to be a public relations Intern with Caesars Entertainment, one of the biggest hotel company’s on the Las Vegas strip. I worked out of the Iconic Caesars Palace helping with Clipping content, writing bios for chefs, drafting press releases, staffing red carpet events for show openings, and being able to sit in on photoshoots with Elle Mexico, Paper Magazine, and Sports Net.
I am A Die hard LSU Tigers fan (Geaux Tigers), I love to dance, I love food a little more than I should, and I also am very passionate about being goal orientated and working for my dreams.
